40 Years and Beyond
40 years ago, in a small, rented apartment on Barbaros Boulevard in Istanbul, a vision quietly took shape — built on telex machines, fax lines, and unwavering determination. On September 1, 1986, Gün + Partners set out with three professionals and limited capital.
The resources were modest. The ambition was not. The goal was clear: To build a leading, and truly institutional law firm in Türkiye. The world has changed. Technology has changed. The legal profession has evolved. But one thing has remained constant: A commitment to excellence, integrity, and uncompromising quality.
Over the past four decades, we have reached many milestones. We have earned respected industry awards. We have been recognized by leading international ranking institutions as a top-tier law firm. And through changing markets and challenging economic cycles, we have never compromised our ethical and quality-driven approach.
Today, with more than 100 professionals, a growing client base, and a strong equity foundation, we look back not only with pride — but with gratitude. Because this journey was never built by one person alone. It was built by those who believed. Those who trusted. Those who worked, advised, supported, and stood with us.
